We'll meet at the library to discuss The Boys in the Boat: Nine Americans and Their Epic Quest for Gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics by Daniel Brown
In this fascinating true story, a rowing team from the University of Washington emerges from obscurity to defeat the world’s elite competitors at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Against all odds, this group of working-class boys triumph over adversity amidst the struggles and stark realities of the Great Depression.

We'll meet at the library to discuss The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion

As Don navigates the social challenges of everyday life living with Asperger’s, he learns that you can’t find love no matter how scientifically you look for it. We'll meet at the library to discuss The Invention of Wings by Sue Monk Kidd.
A powerful and sweeping historical novel inspired by the life of early abolitionist and suffragist Sarah Grimké. Set in Charleston in the early 1800s, the novel traces the intertwined fates of Grimké and her imagined slave, Hetty, exploring the nation’s painful history of slavery through the women’s struggles for liberation, empowerment, and expression.
