Snowshoeing with Unbound

Beat the winter doldrums and join us for snowshoeing, hot chocolate, and s'mores with the Downers Grove Park District at Lyman Woods (901 31st Street)! In the event of no snow, we'll still have a bonfire and snacks. Snowshoes will be provided but space is limited! Registration required. For adults in their 20's and 30's.

Saturday Morning Storytime

Join us each Saturday morning for stories, songs, and fingerplays. Parent participation is an important part of this storytime, and attending children must be supervised by an adult. Registration is not required. Storytimes attended by eight or fewer people may be canceled by the storyteller.

Tottercize

This program is designed to teach children skills about healthy movement, coordination, and balance. Each class includes yoga, dramatic movement, cardio and a "cool down" story. Registered children must be 3 years or older and attend with their parent/caregiver. Only one child per adult. Group Limit: 20 pairs

Nonfiction Book Discussion

We'll meet at the library to discuss The Boys in the Boat: Nine Americans and Their Epic Quest for Gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics by Daniel Brown In this fascinating true story, a rowing team from the University of Washington emerges from obscurity to defeat the world's elite competitors at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Against all odds, this group of working-class boys triumph over adversity amidst the struggles and stark realities of the Great Depression. Books are available at the Ask Us Desk one month before each discussion. Registration is not required.

Open Toddler Storytime
