Open Storytime

9:30am to 10:00am
This storytime is designed for toddlers and preschoolers, although children of all ages may attend, and features simple picture books, songs and participation activities. Parent participation is an essential element of this storytime, and attending children must be supervised by an adult. Registration is not required. Storytimes attended by eight or fewer people may be canceled by the storyteller.

Open Infant Storytime

Parents with babies who are not yet walking are invited to this first storytime experience! Songs, rhymes, stories, and movement activities are selected to promote early literacy, vocabulary, and motor skills. Group limit: 70. Only one child per adult.

Drop-In Preschool Craft Day

Concert: Kraig Kenning Contemporary Folk

A mix of contemporary folk, blues, roots rock, American Fingerstyle, and Americana by Kraig Kenning. Kraig took first place honors as Best Unsigned Artist at National Guitar's 1st Annual Slide Competition. He has opened for Mick Taylor of the Rolling Stones, and slide guitar master Sonny Landreth; and he has shared lineups with club and folk series favorites such as John Gorka and Patti Larkin. Refreshments provided.
