Join us each Saturday morning for stories, songs, and fingerplays. Parent involvement is an important part of this storytime, and attending children must be accompanied by an adult.
Sit back and listen, if you dare, to the entertaining and chilling tales of the historical hauntings of the Midwest. Stories of the S.S. Eastland, Brookfield Zoo, Fort Dearborn Massacre, and John Dillinger (to name just a few) help to guarantee spooky goosebumps, while learning a bit of history at the same time!
Meet the artist behind the Color of Light painting exhibit displayed in the cafe gallery. Brian Murray's influences include former art professors Jennifer Hereth and Gary Schirmer, the Impressionists, and contemporary landscape painter Scott Naismith. His main focus of this exhibit "is on the scattering of light and the combination of all the various color palettes." See Brian Murray's work on display through October 31.
