This mini-class will answer your questions about basic files and folders. We will discuss how your computer is organized, how to save your work, where it goes, and how to find it. Learn how to personalize your files and folders so that you can organize them in a way that works for you. Basic familiarity with a Microsoft Office app such as Word is recommended. Advance registration with a Downers Grove Library card is required.

celebrating each person's unique creativity. The Peter H. Reynolds movie, The Dot, will be shown to inspire self-expression
through dot-related art for all. And to think, it all begins with the DOT.
An introduction to city directories explaining why and how to use them. A case study will demonstrate how ancestors can be found using these directories. There will be time at the end to practice using these resources. Some laptops will be available for use. Please bring your own laptop or device if possible.
