There are many sites on the Internet that offer free email. These email providers allow you to access your email anywhere you have access to the Internet. Because it is a free service, you may have to put up with some inconveniences such as pop-up advertisements. You may also be required to provide some demographic information.
The list below is just of sampling of free email access. The set-up for each site may be different, but there will be a link on each provider’s page with information on how to sign up and what services they offer.

Yahoo! Mail
When you register with an email provider, be sure you remember your email address and password. The library simply provides the computers that allow you to use your email – we do not have access to your email account and cannot tell you your password or email address if you don’t remember it.
